Narc Magazine 'live brief'

Narc is a music and culture magazine focusing on the north east, they hold a competition once a year to design students studying in Newcastle to design a magazine cover and CD with packaging. This concept is based around the childhood practice of carving your loved one's initials into a tree, I wanted to look into the 'love Narc' idea keeping it simple. If my submission was to be shortlisted the photography and carving would be reshot. Im also going to enter another cover based around 80's punk gig posters, will be up soon.

1st year 'before,' pieces.

I thought I would post a selection of work from my first year of study as I'am about to revisit some of it and amend a few things in preparation for my portfolio site and thought it would be nice to have a 'before,' section in order to represent my learning curve. The amendments should be up within a week or so, and the new portfolio site will be live within a month.
