Visited the George Shaw exhibition at the Baltic yesterday...

All of the pieces are painted using Humbrol model paint and so have a deep, glossy look with vivid colour and fine detail so that some almost appear photorealistic. Also on the second floor is a video piece describing the artists process but also a collection of watercolour vistas painted by the same artist.
